ACF: Login

This plugin modifies the standard login process for a CMS to accept a custom user field as the login credential. It is designed for administrators who need to authenticate users based on specific, pre-existing data like a mobile number, national ID, or employee code, rather than a standard username or email address.

• Custom Field Login: Select any existing custom user field to serve as the primary login credential on the public login form.
• Flexible Authentication: Supports use cases where a phone number, membership ID, or other unique identifier is the preferred or required method for user access.
• Simple Configuration: The setup involves choosing the field from a settings page; no complex coding is required for basic functionality.
• Standard Password Security: The login process retains the normal password check, using only the custom field to identify the user account.
• Administrative Control: Site administrators can define which field is used and revert to standard login methods if needed.
