This is a minimal theme designed specifically for creating an online advent calendar on a website. It is intended for site owners, bloggers, or communities who want to run a daily countdown or reveal content each day in December. The theme transforms a standard blog into a dedicated calendar interface.

• Calendar-Focused Structure: The theme disables standard blog features like search and archive pages to prioritize the calendar display. Content is organized using post categories, each representing a separate calendar.
• Shortcode Integration: Use the [calendar category="slug"] shortcode on any page to generate a calendar. It automatically lists up to 24 posts from a specified category in date order, adding placeholders for missing days.
• Custom Display Controls: The calendar is presented using a CSS grid. The layout is responsive, with a simple mobile view and a more varied desktop grid. You can customize the grid arrangement with your own CSS for unique visual designs.
• Guest Author Field: Includes a custom post field named guest-author to specify an author for each calendar entry, overriding the standard post author information.
• Customizable Assets: Default images for calendar doors and logos are provided in the assets folder and can be easily replaced. A custom logo can also be uploaded directly through the site customizer.
