Easy Digital Downloads - Recommended Products

This plugin for Easy Digital Downloads displays product recommendations on download and checkout pages, based on what other customers have purchased. Recommendations are not simply related products but are derived from actual sales data, refreshed nightly to include the day's transactions. Activation imports past sales to build initial recommendations.

• Fully Templatable: Customize the recommendation display by adding your own template to your theme's edd_templates folder.
• Integrates with Easy Digital Downloads Settings: No separate settings page; manage recommendations under the Extensions tab in existing settings.
• Imports Pre-existing Sales: If your store has historical sales, they are analyzed upon activation to generate recommendations immediately.
• Restrict to Paid Items Only: Optionally exclude free products from recommendations.
• User Specific Capabilities: Provide a user ID to exclude already-purchased items from recommendations.
• Cart Integration: Products already in the cart are automatically removed from recommendations.
• Detailed Logging: Track sales generated via recommendations in the reports area, filterable by source and item.
