Event Calendar is a plugin that lets you add event management and display to your website. It's designed for site owners who need to publish and organize events, from single occurrences to recurring series.

• Big Calendar Display: Embed a full-size calendar on any page using a shortcode like [EC3BigCalendar]. Customize options such as number of months, navigation placement, and which events to show.
• Flexible Event Listings: Control what appears on archive and category pages with the ec3_listing parameter. Show only events, only posts, or a mix.
• Iconlets for Event Times: Replace old red box indicators with cleaner iconlets that display event start and end times within post content. Choose between styles in settings.
• Advanced Query Support: Use custom query variables like ec3_before and order to filter and sort events. Supports feeds for iCalendar and custom XML output.
• Multiple Calendars per Page: The new calendar renderer allows embedding more than one calendar on a single page, each with its own options.

The plugin includes a database upgrader for users migrating from version 3.0.x, ensuring event post dates are correctly set. It also integrates with core functionality like tags and sticky posts.
