Fragment Cache

This plugin is for developers and site administrators who need to improve front-end performance by caching specific, resource-intensive parts of a site. It targets elements like navigation menus, widgets, and galleries, regenerating their cached versions asynchronously to avoid slowing down page loads.

• Partial Caching: Stores only designated heavy elements, such as menus and widgets, rather than entire pages. This allows more dynamic parts of a site to remain uncached and current.
• Asynchronous Regeneration: When a cached fragment expires, the plugin rebuilds it in the background. This means site visitors see slightly stale content momentarily without experiencing a delay while the new fragment generates.
• Context-Aware Exclusion: Provides hooks to skip caching for fragments that must be aware of specific contexts, like a user's login status or the current page. This prevents incorrect content from being served from cache.
• Transient-Based Storage: Uses the platform's transients API for caching, which is enhanced by an included library for better reliability and support for persistent object caches.
• Selective Disabling: Allows caching to be turned off completely for a handler type (like all widgets) or for individual fragments based on specific conditions, offering granular control.
