Github Actions

This plugin connects your site to GitHub Actions, letting you trigger workflows by entering your GitHub credentials through the admin dashboard. It is built for developers and site administrators who need to automate deployments, tests, or other GitHub Actions tasks without leaving the backend.

• Modular Administration Area: A dedicated settings panel organizes credential inputs and workflow triggers, keeping the interface clean and easy to navigate.
• AJAX-based Save and Trigger: Save credentials and launch workflows without full page reloads. The plugin uses asynchronous requests to provide immediate feedback on actions.
• Curl-based Workflow Execution: Workflows are triggered via curl requests to the GitHub API, ensuring compatibility with standard GitHub Actions setups.
• Future File Transfer Progress: The repository notes an upcoming feature to display file transfer progress during workflow execution, which will add visibility to long-running processes.

The plugin is open source and available on GitHub under the Wyllymk account. It requires a GitHub personal access token with appropriate permissions to trigger workflows. Installation follows standard plugin procedures: upload the folder to the plugins directory, activate it, and configure credentials in the new settings page.
