JAMP Notes

This plugin adds a note-taking system directly into your content management system's admin interface. It is designed for site administrators and teams who need to leave private, contextual reminders and instructions on specific content items, user profiles, plugins, or dashboard sections. Notes are only visible to users with administrator privileges, making them ideal for internal communication and task management without cluttering the front-end site.

• Contextual Note Attachment: Create and attach notes directly to specific posts, pages, custom post types, users, plugins, and dashboard menu sections. Each note stays linked to its relevant item.
• Centralized Note Management: All notes can be viewed, edited, and managed from a dedicated 'Notes' admin page, which functions similarly to the standard post list with search, filter, and trash restoration capabilities.
• Visual Organization: Assign a color to each note for quick visual identification and categorization. Notes in list views can also be collapsed to save screen space.
• Flexible Placement: Choose where notes appear—as a custom column in list tables, within a meta box on edit screens, in the admin bar for section or global notes, or as tooltips for quick details.
• Automatic Discovery: The plugin automatically detects new custom post types added by other plugins and lists available dashboard sections based on the admin menu, though enabling notes for new types requires a quick manual toggle in the settings.
