Our Relationship with Product Developers

GrootMade is an independent platform that distributes GPL-licensed themes and plugins through community-maintained forks. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of the original theme or plugin developers whose products are distributed through this platform.

What This Means

No Official Relationship

  • We do not have any business relationship, partnership, or official connection with the original developers of the themes and plugins in our library
  • We are not authorized resellers or official distributors of these products
  • The original developers have no control over, or responsibility for, the products distributed through GrootMade

Community-Maintained Forks

All products in our library are community-maintained forks of the original GPL-licensed source code. This means:

  • The code is functionally identical to the original, but rebranded to respect trademarks
  • Each fork is maintained and updated by our community, not by the original developers
  • We exercise the freedoms granted by the GPL license: to use, study, modify, and share

Trademark Respect

We respect the intellectual property rights of original developers:

  • Forked products use our community branding, not original trademarks
  • We do not claim ownership of or association with original product names or brands
  • Original trademarks remain the property of their respective owners

The WP® trademark is the intellectual property of the WP Foundation, and the Woo® and WooCommerce® trademarks are the intellectual property of WooCommerce, Inc. Uses of the WP®, Woo®, and WooCommerce® names in this website are for identification purposes only and do not imply an endorsement by WP Foundation or WooCommerce, Inc.

Product Support

Because we are not affiliated with original developers:

  • We cannot provide official support from the original developers
  • Support is provided by our community and platform infrastructure
  • For official support, updates, or premium features, you may need to purchase licenses directly from the original developers
