Minit CDN

This plugin extends the functionality of the Minit optimization plugin by adding support for a Content Delivery Network (CDN). It is designed for site administrators and developers who use Minit to combine and minify CSS and JavaScript files and want to further improve performance by serving those assets from a CDN.

CDN Configuration: Define your CDN URL and settings directly within your theme's functions.php file using a provided filter hook, giving you control over the source of your static assets. HTTPS Support: The configuration includes an option to specify whether the CDN should be used over secure HTTPS connections, ensuring compatibility with SSL-enabled sites. Minit File Handling: You can choose to apply the CDN rewrite rules to the URLs of the combined files generated by Minit itself, though this may affect Minit's final combination pass. Reduced Origin Load: By offloading the delivery of static CSS and JavaScript files to a CDN, it decreases requests to your primary web server. Improved Global Performance: Serving assets from a CDN's geographically distributed servers can significantly decrease load times for visitors located far from your origin server.
