Shadertoy Gallery

This WordPress plugin lets you embed a gallery of Shadertoy shaders on any post or page using a shortcode. It queries the Shadertoy API based on your search terms and automatically updates the gallery content. Ideal for developers, artists, or anyone who wants to showcase interactive shader art on their site.

• Shortcode-based gallery: Use [shadertoy-list] with attributes like query, username, columns, and sort to customize the displayed shaders.
• Flexible filtering: Filter shaders by username or sort by name, love count, popularity, newest, or hot. Default sort is newest.
• Caching for performance: Search results are cached for at least one day, and individual shader titles for 14 days. This reduces load on Shadertoy and speeds up repeat page loads.
• Responsive grid: Choose between 1, 2, 3, or 4 columns to fit your layout.
• Requires API key: You need a Shadertoy API key (free to request) for the plugin to work. Only shaders published with the API+Public option are visible.

The plugin is open-source and available on GitHub. Note that the first page load after adding the shortcode may be slow due to caching, but subsequent visits will be fast.
