Stage Switcher

This plugin adds a dropdown menu to the admin bar so developers can quickly switch between different site environments without logging out or manually changing URLs. It is designed for developers using Roots Bedrock or any WordPress setup that defines ENVIRONMENTS and WP_ENV constants.

• Environment switcher in the admin bar: A single click moves you between development, staging, and production environments. The current environment is clearly labeled.
• Customizable colors per environment: Use the bedrock/stage_switcher_colors filter to assign distinct background colors to each environment, making it easy to tell which one you are in at a glance.
• Configurable visibility: Control who sees the switcher with the bedrock/stage_switcher_visibility filter. By default, only super admins see it.
• Composer installation: Installed via Composer, keeping your project dependencies clean and manageable.
• Works with Roots Bedrock: If you use Bedrock, WP_ENV is already defined, so setup is minimal.
