Telegram Notifier

Telegram Notifier is a plugin for site owners who want to send manual notifications to a Telegram group when publishing or updating content. It is designed to prevent accidental spam by requiring a checkbox confirmation before each notification is sent.

• Manual confirmation via checkbox: Notifications are not sent automatically. You must check the "Telegram Notifier" box in the Publish metabox to trigger a message. This avoids sending alerts for minor edits like typo fixes.
• Automatic reset after sending: Once a notification is sent, the checkbox reverts to unchecked. This prevents duplicate or unintended sends on subsequent updates.
• Included message content: Each notification includes the featured image (if under 10MB), post title, an excerpt (first 50 characters of content or custom excerpt), and a direct link to the post.
• Configuration via wp-config.php: Bot token and chat ID are stored in the wp-config.php file for security. No settings page is needed inside the admin area.
• Minimal performance impact: The plugin only activates when the checkbox is selected. Sending a message adds 1-2 seconds to the publish process, but does not affect normal post creation or editing.
