Theme Check is a plugin that runs automated tests on a theme to verify it meets the latest official standards. It is designed for theme developers and anyone who wants to ensure their theme is compatible with a wide range of sites. The tests are the same ones used during the official theme submission review process.

• Same tests as official reviews: Uses the identical checks that the theme review team runs on submitted themes. This gives you a clear picture of whether your theme would pass the official review process.
• WP-CLI support: You can run checks from the command line using wp theme-check run. This allows you to integrate testing into your development workflow or continuous integration pipeline.
• Trac formatting option: For developers submitting themes for review, the plugin can format its output for Trac tickets. This is enabled by defining TC_PRE and TC_POST constants in your configuration file.
• Customizable exclusions: You can skip development directories (like node_modules or build folders) by adding a filter. This prevents false positives from non-theme files in your project.
