This is a starter project for developers who build themes for content management systems. It provides a pre-configured development environment to speed up the creation process. The boilerplate includes a structured folder system and automated tasks to handle common front-end workflows.
- Automated CSS Pipeline: The styles task compiles Sass files, adds vendor prefixes, and minifies the final CSS for production.
- JavaScript Bundling and Linting: The scripts task concatenates and minifies JavaScript files while checking code quality for errors.
- Image Optimization: The images task automatically compresses PNG, JPEG, GIF, and SVG files from a source folder.
- Live Development Server: The watch task monitors file changes and syncs them instantly across browsers using BrowserSync.
- Deployment Workflow: A deploy task is included to transfer optimized theme files to a production server using Rsync.
