This plugin lets you upload Tumult Hype animations directly to your site and embed them in posts or pages using simple shortcodes. It is built for designers and developers who want to add interactive animations without manual HTML embedding.

  • Upload OAM files directly: Export your Hype document as an OAM widget, then drag and drop it into the plugin's upload modal. The plugin generates a shortcode you can paste anywhere.
  • Shortcode-based embedding: Use [hype_animations_anim="12"] in posts, pages, or theme files via do_shortcode(). No need to edit templates or copy-paste complex code.
  • Responsive document support: Works with flexible layouts, but requires a fixed height or a CSS min-height class (e.g., .minheight400) to avoid zero-height containers. A planning helper document is available to preview how your animation fits the available space.
  • Iframe embedding for head HTML: If your Hype document includes <head> content (JavaScript, CSS, fonts), switch from <div> to <iframe> embedding to preserve those resources.
  • Dataset parameters: An extension adds a [hypeanimations_anim_dataset] shortcode that passes custom key-value pairs to your animation, enabling scene selection or data passing without code changes.

Security note: The plugin allows file uploads. Restrict user roles or use a security plugin to prevent unauthorized file execution. Optimization plugins like JCH Optimize or Autooptimize may break embeds; disable them for pages with Hype animations. For bug reports, include your site version, upload attempts, and steps to reproduce.
