WCN Block One

This toolkit is for developers who need to create custom blocks for the Gutenberg editor. It removes the complex setup process, allowing you to start a new block plugin project in minutes.

• Zero Configuration Setup: The toolkit automatically configures React, webpack, Babel, and ESLint. You run a single command to generate a working plugin structure.
• Single Script Dependency: All build processes are managed through one dependency (cgb-scripts). This makes updating tooling versions simple and consistent across projects.
• Development and Production Builds: Use npm start for a live development server that watches for changes. Use npm run build to compile optimized, production-ready code into a dist folder.
• Eject Option: If you need full control, you can run npm run eject. This copies all configuration files into your project, but you then must manage updates yourself.
• Pre-configured Tooling: The generated project includes support for JSX, modern ES6+ syntax, and auto-prefixed CSS, providing a modern development environment out of the box.
