WP Tailwind

This starter theme gives WordPress developers a minimal foundation for building custom themes with Tailwind CSS and PurgeCSS. It's designed for developers who want utility-first styling without bloated CSS output.

• Tailwind CSS integration: Use Tailwind's utility classes directly in your theme. Customize default styles through the tailwind.js config file before compilation.
• Automatic CSS purging: PurgeCSS scans your project for used styles and removes everything else from the production build. This keeps your CSS files small and fast to load.
• Webpack bundling: JavaScript files use ES6 modules and are bundled with Webpack. Images in src are compressed automatically and mapped to the correct output paths using the @images alias.
• Environment-aware builds: The enqueue hook loads the correct JavaScript file based on whether SCRIPT_DEBUG is enabled. Run npm run build to generate both production and development builds.
• Simple setup: Clone the repo into your themes directory, run a find-and-replace for the theme slug, then install dependencies with composer install and npm install. Update the BrowserSync domain in webpack.config.js to match your local environment.
