This plugin applies a grayscale color filter to a website's front end, allowing for visual adjustments and accessibility considerations. It is suitable for site administrators who want to offer a reduced-color mode, either for stylistic reasons, specific campaigns, or to provide a visual preference for visitors.
Adjustable Intensity: Control the strength of the grayscale effect with a slider from 0% to 100%, allowing for subtle desaturation or full monochrome.
Visitor Toggle: Provides a button for site visitors to turn the grayscale effect on or off. The user's choice is saved in their browser's local storage for future visits.
Shortcode Support: Use the [grayscale_toggle] shortcode to place the visitor control button anywhere on your site using page builders or post editors.
Admin Area Option: An optional setting can apply the grayscale filter to the website's administrative dashboard, useful for testing or consistent theming.
Element Exclusion: Specific page elements can be excluded from the filter by adding the .no-grayscale CSS class, preserving their original colors.
