This plugin enables users to sign into a site using their existing Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) credentials, centralizing authentication for organizations. It is designed for administrators of sites built on common CMS platforms who need to integrate with Microsoft 365 or other enterprise identity systems.

Centralized Authentication: Users sign in with their organizational Microsoft Entra ID accounts, eliminating the need to manage separate site passwords.
Automatic User Provisioning: New user accounts can be created automatically upon first successful login, pulling details from the Microsoft Entra ID profile.
Role Mapping via Groups: Site access and user roles can be controlled by mapping membership in specific Microsoft Entra ID security groups to corresponding roles within the site.
Flexible Matching: Users can be matched to existing accounts using either their email address or login name, providing configuration options for different directory setups.
Fallback Login: The standard username and password login method remains available as a backup, preventing lockouts if the Microsoft Entra ID service is unavailable.
