Note that recurring payments are sent to AvaTax, but the tax rate is locked from the initial subscription purchase. Refunds are handled by attempting to void the transaction in AvaTax, which may not be possible if the transaction is already locked by tax authorities. This add-on requires the core membership plugin to be installed and active.
