This plugin adds a custom block that automatically builds a table of contents from the headings within a post or page. It is designed for content creators and site owners who publish long-form articles and want to improve how visitors navigate their content. The block creates a list of clickable links that sync with the document structure, providing a clear overview and allowing readers to jump directly to relevant sections.

Automatic Generation: The block scans your content in real-time to identify heading tags and builds the navigation list automatically. It adds unique anchor IDs to headings when needed, without overwriting any custom IDs you have set.

Live Syncing & Customization: As you add, remove, or edit headings in the editor, the list updates immediately. You can reorder links, rename them for clarity, and choose to exclude specific headings from the list entirely.

Flexible Styling Options: Control the layout by choosing a vertical list, a horizontal button style, or a plain text format with separators. Adjust typography, colors, and background. An optional 'Smart Indentation' feature visually nests sub-headings to show content hierarchy.

Enhanced User Experience: On the front end, links provide smooth scrolling to sections. Optional features include making the list sticky as users scroll, an active link indicator that highlights the current section, and a collapsible design to save space on long lists.

Editor Controls: All settings are organized within the block editor sidebar. You can switch between a simple preview mode and a detailed editing mode to manage individual links and their appearance directly.
