This plugin extends the Contact Form 7 form builder by adding three specialized field types designed for sites within the MIT community. It is for administrators and developers who need to create forms that integrate with MIT's authentication system and organizational data.
- Authenticate Button: Adds a field that passes users through the Touchstone authentication system, verifying their MIT affiliation directly within a form.
- Department Selector: Provides a dropdown control automatically populated with the current list of MIT departments, labs, and centers (DLCs), ensuring accurate and up-to-date organizational data.
- Thank You Redirect: Includes an option to send users to a specific thank you page immediately after they successfully submit a form.
- Enhanced Validation: Automatically adds a validation step for all select and radio fields in forms to prevent form hijacking attempts, improving form security without requiring extra configuration.
