This plugin adds a color picker field to Advanced Custom Fields that mirrors the Gutenberg editor palette. It is built for developers who want to offer clients a consistent color selection experience between the block editor and custom ACF fields.

  • Automatic palette loading: Colors are pulled directly from theme.json and the editor palette, so no manual configuration is needed.
  • Smart return format: Each field returns the color name, slug, hex value, plus pre-built background and text color classes for immediate use in templates.
  • Default value by slug: You can set a default color using its slug (e.g., green-500) instead of a hex code.
  • Color filtering: Whitelist or blacklist specific colors from the palette to restrict choices.
  • Composer install: Works with Bedrock and Sage 10 via composer require log1x/acf-editor-palette.
