Advanced Custom Fields: Image Aspect Ratio Crop

This plugin adds a custom field type to Advanced Custom Fields that requires users to crop images to a defined aspect ratio or pixel size after uploading. It is designed for site builders and developers who need consistent image dimensions across a site, especially for responsive layouts.

Forces precise cropping: After selecting an image, the user must crop it to the specified ratio or size before the field is saved. This eliminates manual resizing and inconsistent image dimensions.

Three cropping modes: Choose between aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9), exact pixel size (e.g., 640x480), or free crop. Each mode locks the selection area accordingly.

Preserves the original image: The cropped version is saved as a separate media file, while the original remains untouched. Users can re-crop the original at any time from the post edit screen.

Hides cropped variants from media library: By default, cropped images are hidden in the media browser and grid view to reduce clutter. They can be viewed by switching to list view.

Compatible with popular plugins: Works with Polylang Pro, Enable Media Replace, and remote media storage plugins like WP Offload Media and Media Cloud.
