Custom Post Type Widget Blocks

This plugin adds default widget blocks for custom post types to the block editor. It is intended for site builders and developers who need to display custom post type content—such as portfolios, testimonials, or events—using the same block-based widgets available for standard posts.

• Latest Posts (Custom Post Type): Displays a list of the most recent posts from any registered custom post type.
• Archives (Custom Post Type): Shows a monthly archive list filtered by custom post type.
• Categories (Custom Post Type): Lists categories that contain posts from a selected custom post type.
• Calendar (Custom Post Type): Renders a calendar that highlights posts from a chosen custom post type.
• Latest Comments (Custom Post Type): Displays the most recent comments on custom post type entries.
• Tag Cloud (Custom Post Type): Outputs a tag cloud for tags assigned to custom post type posts.
• Search (Custom Post Type): Provides a search form scoped to a specific custom post type.

All blocks appear in a dedicated "Custom Post Type Widget Blocks" category in the block inserter. Each block includes options to filter by registered custom post type or taxonomy. The plugin also exposes filter hooks for developers to modify block arguments, such as query parameters or display settings.
