Geotagged Media

This plugin displays the location of your geotagged photos on an interactive map directly in the Wordpress dashboard or via shortcode on the frontend. It reads EXIF geotags from uploaded images and plots them on a zoomable map. Clicking a marker shows a thumbnail popup that links to the edit page.

• Multiple map sources: Choose from OpenStreetMap, BingMaps, ESRI, TileWMS, ThunderForest, MapBox, or Google (with API key). Each source can be toggled via radio buttons.
• Shortcode with filters: Use [gtm_map] with arguments like category, sources, with_thumbnail_checkbox, and with_categories_filter to control which media and map options appear.
• Media library enhancements: Adds a "metadata" column showing coordinates and camera model. Also adds editable geotag fields in the Edit Media and Attachment Details views.
• Reverse geocoding on upload: Automatically names uploaded photos based on their location (e.g., street, city) using reverse geocoding.
• Category and tag support: Enables taxonomies for media, allowing you to filter maps by categories or tags.
