MB Term Meta is a plugin for developers who need to attach custom fields to taxonomy terms such as categories, tags, or any custom taxonomy. It extends Meta Box to work with term meta, using the same field registration syntax and UI you already know.

  • 40+ field types: Choose from text, number, image, date picker, WYSIWYG editor, and many more. Each field supports cloning, validation, and conditional logic.
  • Native term meta API: Stores data using the built-in term meta table, keeping your database clean and compatible with other plugins.
  • Same UI as WordPress admin: Fields appear in the term edit screen using the standard WordPress interface, so no extra learning is needed for content editors.
  • Lightweight and fast: Adds no unnecessary bloat. Only loads assets on pages where term meta fields are registered.
  • Works with any taxonomy: Use with built-in categories and tags, or with custom taxonomies created by other plugins or themes.
