This plugin extends the standard widget library to include custom post types and taxonomies. It is for site administrators and developers who use custom content structures and need to display that content in sidebars or widget areas using familiar, default-style widgets.

Recent Posts Widget displays the latest entries from any registered custom post type, with options to show the post date.
Archives and Calendar Widgets generate monthly archives and calendars filtered by a selected post type, helping visitors navigate time-based content.
Categories and Tag Cloud Widgets work with custom taxonomies, allowing you to list categories or display a tag cloud for specific content types.
Search Widget includes a filter to limit search results to a particular post type, making front-end searches more relevant.
Developer Controls include constants to disable specific widget links and action/filter hooks for customizing output, such as prepending featured images to recent post lists.
