This plugin adds a dedicated navigation menu area to the header of a site built on the Genesis Framework. It is designed for developers and site owners using Genesis child themes who want a more efficient method for placing a primary menu.

Cleaner HTML Markup: Outputs a simple <nav> element directly in the header, avoiding the extra <aside>, <section>, and <div> containers generated by using a standard menu widget. This results in less DOM clutter.
Direct Menu Registration: Creates a new 'Header' menu location in the admin area under Appearance > Menus. Assigning a menu here automatically displays it in the theme's header structure.
Flexible Positioning: Includes a filter (genesis_header_nav_priority) to control the order of the menu's output within the header, allowing placement before or after the title and widget areas.
Compatible Styling: Works with existing Genesis child themes. Basic CSS examples are provided for positioning the menu, typically to float it to the right of the header.
Selective Display Control: The menu can be conditionally removed on specific pages, like landing pages, by unhooking its display function via a code snippet.
