This plugin adds a featured image column and inline editing capability to the post list screens within a content management system's admin area. It is designed for site administrators, editors, and builders who manage many posts and need a faster way to assign or remove post thumbnails.

Featured Image Column: A new column labeled "Image" appears in the list table for posts, pages, and other public post types that support thumbnails. It displays the current image or a placeholder icon.

Quick Edit Integration: The featured image field is added directly to the Quick Edit panel. You can select a new image or remove the existing one without navigating away from the list view.

Broad Post Type Support: It works automatically for standard posts, pages, and any custom public post type that has thumbnail support enabled.

Customizable Exclusions: Specific post types can be excluded from the feature using a simple constant in the site configuration or a developer filter, allowing for fine-tuned control.

Lightweight Implementation: The plugin is designed to be minimal, adding functionality without significant performance overhead. It can also be installed and used as a standalone code snippet if preferred.
