This project provides a foundational setup for developers building custom themes for content management systems. It is designed for those who want a clean, modern workflow for managing CSS and JavaScript assets without the complexity of a larger framework. The boilerplate uses Laravel Mix to define and run build tasks, offering a straightforward alternative to configuring Webpack directly.

• Pre-configured Laravel Mix Builds: The setup includes ready-to-use npm scripts for development (npm run dev) and production (npm run prod). This compiles and optimizes Sass and JavaScript files, generating source maps for easier debugging.
• Automatic Asset Versioning: Compiled assets are automatically versioned, and a manifest file is created. This eliminates the need to manually update query strings in theme files to bust browser cache after deployments.
• Integrated Live Reload: During development, BrowserSync is configured to proxy your local site. Changes to source files trigger automatic browser refreshes or CSS injections, letting you see updates instantly.
• Minimal Project Structure: The boilerplate includes only essential files for theme development, such as a basic style.css header, functions.php, and organized src directories for SCSS and JS. This keeps the starting point clean and focused.
• Easy Local Configuration: A sample configuration file (local-example.json) is provided. Copying and modifying this file with your local development URL is all that's required to enable the live reload proxy feature.
