This plugin extends the billing address form for e-commerce stores, adding fields for business identification (IČO) and VAT numbers (DIČ). It is designed for store owners who need to collect and verify company details from B2B customers, particularly in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and across the EU. The tool helps ensure tax-compliant invoicing by preventing errors at the point of entry.

Real-time Validation: Checks entered business IDs and VAT numbers against official ARES (CZ) and VIES (EU) databases, or performs mathematical format checks, to confirm their validity before an order is placed. Automatic Address Completion: For Czech companies, entering a valid business ID can automatically populate the company name, VAT number, street address, city, and postal code from the ARES registry, saving customers time. Flexible Field Management: Provides an optional "Purchase for a company" checkbox to show or hide the business fields, keeping the checkout clean for individual shoppers. Administrators can also edit these fields from the user and order management screens. EU VAT Handling: Supports validation for VAT numbers from all EU countries via the VIES system and includes a function for marking orders as VAT-exempt for international business customers. Administrative Alerts: Includes an option to allow orders to proceed if a database check fails for technical reasons (like server downtime), while flagging the issue in the admin area and order notification emails for review.
