This is a security policy enforcement tool for website administrators and hosting providers using Cloudflare's network. It automatically detects and blocks requests to domains where a CNAME DNS record is configured to point to a resource owned by a different Cloudflare user account, preventing unauthorized cross-account linking.

• Enforces Account Isolation: The core function is to strictly prohibit CNAME setups that span different user accounts. This maintains clear security boundaries and prevents one user from inadvertently or maliciously pointing their domain to another user's resources.
• Prevents Domain Hijacking: By blocking these cross-user CNAME configurations, the tool mitigates risks associated with domain or subdomain hijacking. It stops attackers from redirecting traffic by manipulating DNS records to point to resources they do not control.
• Maintains Network Integrity: The policy ensures the correct mapping and ownership of all hostnames on the network. This is crucial for accurate traffic routing, security filtering, and maintaining the overall reliability of the service.
• Provides Clear Error Messaging: When a violation is detected, it returns a specific Error 1014 page to the visitor. This informs the site owner of the misconfiguration (a CNAME cross-user ban) so it can be corrected, often by reconfiguring the DNS record within the proper account.
