• Open Book Collective: A charitable platform that lets libraries and institutions financially support open access book publishers through collective funding, reducing individual costs and administrative burden.
• Opening the Future: A revenue model for university presses that converts subscription income into funding for open access books, already adopted by multiple presses.
• Thoth Open Metadata: An open metadata management and dissemination platform that helps publishers distribute book information across catalogs and discovery services, increasing visibility and reuse.
• Archiving & Digital Preservation Group: Develops technical methods and workflows to ensure long-term access to open access publications, addressing a key challenge for digital scholarship.
• Experimental Publishing Group: Researches and prototypes new ways to align existing software and tools with open, collaborative publishing workflows, enabling more flexible formats and processes.
