Sage Starter Theme

This starter theme is for developers who build custom sites using Tailwind CSS and want a modern, maintainable workflow. It combines Laravel Blade templating, Vite-based hot module replacement, and automatic theme.json generation from your Tailwind config.

• Automatic theme.json generation – Your Tailwind color palette, font families, and font sizes are synced to the block editor without manual configuration. The theme.json file is generated during the build process.
• Laravel Blade templates – Use template inheritance, components with props, and clean file organization. Example components like alert boxes with conditional styling are included.
• Vite HMR in the block editor – Style changes update instantly in the editor without a full page refresh. The Vite config includes plugins for Tailwind CSS and WordPress integration.
• PSR-4 autoloading and Acorn – PHP classes are organized with namespaces and service providers. View composers keep data logic separate from templates.
• Professional directory structure – Separated app, resources, and public directories. Editor-specific CSS and JS files are included alongside front-end assets.
