WP Tailwind

This starter theme gives WordPress developers a clean foundation for building custom themes with Tailwind CSS and PurgeCSS. It's designed for developers who want utility-first styling without bloated stylesheets.

• Tailwind CSS integration: Use Tailwind's utility classes directly in your theme templates. Customize default styles through the tailwind.js config file before compilation.
• Automatic CSS purging: PurgeCSS scans your project for used classes and removes unused styles from production builds, keeping your CSS file small. You can adjust which directories it scans in webpack.config.js.
• Webpack bundling: The theme uses Webpack to bundle JavaScript via ES6 modules, compress images, and map assets with the @images alias. Run npm run build for production or development builds.
• BrowserSync for local development: Configure the BrowserSync plugin in webpack.config.js to match your local domain, enabling live reload during development.
• Simple setup: Clone the repo into your themes directory, run a find/replace for the theme slug (wp-tailwind, WP_Tailwind, wp_tailwind_), then run composer install and npm install. Start developing with npm start.
