This plugin visually identifies images lacking descriptive alt text within a site's content editor. It is designed for content creators, editors, and site administrators who need to improve web accessibility and ensure all images have meaningful alternative descriptions. The tool works by applying a blur effect directly in the editing interface, making missing or inadequate alt text immediately obvious without affecting the live site.
Blur Detection: Automatically blurs images in the editor that have no alt text or have alt text containing only common file extensions like .jpg or .png.
Editor-Only Effect: The blur is only visible within the dashboard; site visitors see the normal, unblurred images.
Interactive Unblur: Hovering over or selecting a blurred image temporarily removes the blur, allowing editors to see the image while making corrections.
Decorative Image Support: Provides an option to exclude decorative images by adding a specific CSS class (noalt) to prevent unnecessary blurring.
Configurable Notifications: Includes a settings option to control the display of an informational message at the top of the editor screen about the plugin's function.
