This plugin connects your website to a Sina Weibo account, automatically publishing new articles as they go live. It is designed for content creators and website administrators who want to expand their reach by sharing posts directly to a major Chinese social media platform.
Automatic Synchronization: Once configured, the plugin automatically sends new articles to your linked Weibo account upon publication, saving manual effort.
Two Posting Formats: You can choose to publish content as a standard Weibo post or as a Weibo 'Headline Article,' which offers a longer-form, featured format.
Requires App Registration: To use the service, you must first create and configure a web application through the Sina Open Platform to obtain the necessary API keys.
Format Adjustments: Note that the Headline Article format does not support certain HTML tags like <pre> and <code>; the plugin converts these to compatible tags, which may alter the displayed formatting.
Usage Limits: Be aware that Sina Weibo imposes daily limits on the number of Headline Articles that can be published.
