Configure your branded platform step by step

White-Label Setup

Complete guide to launching your branded GPL marketplace.

Prerequisites

Before starting:

  • ✅ Active Agency plan subscription
  • ✅ Domain name for your platform
  • ✅ Logo and brand assets ready
  • ✅ SSL certificate (we provide free SSL)

Step 1: Access White-Label Settings

  1. Log in to your GrootMade dashboard
  2. Navigate to Settings → White-Label
  3. Click Enable White-Label

Step 2: Connect Your Domain

Choose Your Domain

Enter the domain for your platform (e.g., plugins.youragency.com).

Configure DNS

Add these DNS records to your domain:

Verify Domain

Click Verify in the dashboard. Verification may take up to 24 hours for DNS propagation.

SSL Certificate

Once verified, SSL is automatically provisioned. Your site will be accessible via HTTPS.

Step 3: Upload Branding

Upload your logo in the following formats:

Color Palette

Configure your brand colors:

  • Primary — Main brand color (buttons, links)
  • Secondary — Accent color
  • Background — Page background
  • Text — Primary text color
  • Muted — Secondary text

Use hex codes (e.g., #3B82F6).

Typography

Choose fonts:

  • Heading Font — For titles
  • Body Font — For paragraph text

Select from Google Fonts or upload custom fonts.

Step 4: Configure Products

Library Selection

Choose what to offer:

  • Full Library — All 5,000+ products
  • Curated Selection — Hand-pick products
  • Categories Only — Limit to specific categories

Hidden Products

Exclude products that:

  • Compete with your services
  • Don't fit your market
  • You don't want to support

Highlight products on your homepage:

  1. Go to Products → Featured
  2. Select up to 12 products
  3. Arrange display order

Step 5: Set Up Billing

Stripe Integration

Connect your Stripe account:

  1. Go to Billing → Connect Stripe
  2. Authorize the connection
  3. Stripe handles all payments

Subscription Plans

Create your pricing tiers:

Free Tier:
- 5 downloads/month
- Basic products only

Pro Tier - $X/month:
- Unlimited downloads
- All products
- Auto-updates

Agency Tier - $X/month:
- Everything in Pro
- Priority support
- API access

Coupons & Discounts

Create promotional codes:

  • Percentage off
  • Fixed amount off
  • Free trial extensions

Step 6: Email Configuration

Custom Email Domain

Send emails from your domain:

  1. Add SPF and DKIM records
  2. Verify sending domain
  3. Customize email templates

Email Templates

Customize:

  • Welcome email
  • Password reset
  • Download notifications
  • Invoice receipts
  • Update alerts

Step 7: Launch Checklist

Before going live:

  • Domain verified and SSL active
  • Logo and colors configured
  • Products selected and organized
  • Pricing tiers created
  • Test purchase completed
  • Emails tested
  • Support contact configured
  • Legal pages added (Terms, Privacy)

Going Live

  1. Preview your platform at your domain
  2. Complete the launch checklist
  3. Click Go Live
  4. Start marketing!

Test First

Always complete a test purchase before launching publicly.
